Awarded Zangzhong Interconnection Project of SGCC

Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co,.Ltd has been awarded Zangzhong interconnection project National Important Project of SGCC as the  biggest winner with most packages awarded in April,2017.

With overall investment of 16.2 billion and total line length 2738km, Zangzhong interconnection project is the transmission and transformation project at the highest altitude, with biggest altitude crossing and complicated natural condition in the world. The average working altitude of Zangzhong interconnection project is above 4000m.The highest tower, located at the Dongda Mountain whose altitude is 5259m is the highest 500kV transmission tower all over the world. Mangkang 500kV Substation with altitude 4295m is the highest 500kV substation in the world, where the voltage transformer and current transformer from 35kV up to 500kV supplied by our company shall be installed. Our products shall be the instrument transformer operating in the highest altitude.

Zangzhong Interconnection project is expected to complete in 2018, which not only makes the power interconnection between Middle Tibetan and East Tibetan possible and becomes the main center connecting Qingzang and Chuanzang,but also transmits the clean energy out of Tibetan,and guarantees the power supply safety for Sichuan-Tibet railway and Yunnan-Tibet railway .
